A RedDot on Vignette August 26, 2008

Ran across this speculation regarding rumors of a possible Open Text play to acquire Vignette. Marko discussed possible buyers that might pick up the the troubled WCM in this post. There is no doubt that Open Text has been in an acquisition mood of late though this one is bigger. (see also) While this will bring ever more seats onto OT’s maintence and renewal, it would create yet another overlap in technology for their WCM portfolio. Nevertheless, a bargain is a bargain.
