Wow another iTeam reference – that’s two in a week. Maybe EMC will bring it back…

I will definitely be in touch regarding our experience. I’ve stumbled on a few posts elsewhere on Composer but not nearly as much as what I would have expected given the importance of the tool long term.

Unfortunately I can’t tell Marko hi for you because I owe him money and have been avoiding direct contact. I expect he’ll be in touch soon.

I had also been told that they (EMC) were looking to their partners and clients (all of us) to build their own UIs with Magellan and to extend it via the APIs. AGain, that won’t happen until 09 when they have finalized what functionality they want to expose via APIs.

OOTB is fine but basics like custom types et.al. have to be addressed at some level.

I’m glad to see there is still someone out the generating new material for me to cut and paste from – keep up the good work. My performance depends on it.

I got the impression at EMC World that Magellan was to be more out-of-the-box and that Weptop was going to remain the customizable UI. Mind you, like all web applications, customizations should be possible. I think the Beta will help determine that picture.

Just so you know, I still write original code. Why just the other day I wrote 30 lines of original code. I embedded it in a stolen BOF class, but it was my BOF class, so it was okay.
